WASHINGTON -- Giants center fielder Angel Pagan was out of Sunday's starting lineup against the Washington Nationals with what manager Bruce Bochy described as leg tightness.

Bochy said he expects Pagan to rejoin the lineup Monday, indicating the injury is not serious. Pagan was available to come off the bench Sunday, Bochy added.

Pagan's batting .277 (18-for-65) since returning from the disabled list Aug. 7 after missing 44 games with back tightness. That includes a .333 effort (8-for-24) in the current road trip's first five games.
