Junior Giants will participate in a pre-game parade around the field before watching the San Francisco Giants take on the Philadelphia Phillies. During the pre-game ceremony, Giants Hall of Famer Willie McCovey will recognize the Junior Giants "Willie Mac" Awardees for their outstanding contributions and participation throughout the season.

WHEN: Sunday, August 17, 2014 11:50 P.M. (Junior Giants Parade) Approx. 12:45 P.M. (Junior Giants Willie Mac Award Home Plate Ceremony)

WHERE: AT&T Park - Field Level.

WHY: The Junior Giants Willie Mac Award, named in honor of Giants Hall of Famer Willie McCovey, is the "junior" version of the annual award presented to a Major League Giants player as voted by his teammates and coaching staff. The award is presented to the Junior Giants players who best exemplify the Junior Giants Four Bases of Character Development: Confidence, Integrity, Leadership and Teamwork.
