Casilla tests hamstring with bullpen session

CINCINNATI -- Giants right-hander Santiago Casilla threw a 25-pitch bullpen session Thursday in Cincinnati and is scheduled to throw another Saturday.

San Francisco manager Bruce Bochy said Casilla could begin a Minor League rehabilitation assignment in 10 days to two weeks "if all goes well."

The Giants' top setup man injured his right hamstring while running to first base after batting during the ninth inning of a 5-1 loss May 21 at Colorado. An MRI revealed a Grade 2 (medium) strain.
