Giants Welcome Twins And Cubs To Town

SAN FRANCISCO, CA. - After a quick three-game road trip to Colorado, the Giants return to the Shores of McCovey Cove for a six-game homestand against the Minnesota Twins (May 23-25) and the Chicago Cubs (May 26-28).

The annual Giants Community Fund/Giants Wives Auction will kick off on Thursday, May 22 with the online auction at www.sfgiants.com/wivesauction. On Friday, May 23 and Saturday, May 24, stop by the Community Clubhouse on the Promenade Level for a silent auction featuring players "favorite things" baskets and Mystery Baseball sales. Proceeds benefit the Giants Community Fund, the George Mark Children's House and the Homeless Prenatal Program. Learn more at sfgiants.com/wivesauction.

On Friday, May 23, the Giants will host Carnaval at the Park Night, presented by Corona Light. Fans who purchase a special event ticket will have access to the Carnaval pre-game festival in Seals Plaza from 5:00-7:00 p.m., and a limited edition La Rumba De La Copa Mundial Giants scarf, in celebration of the World Cup taking place this summer in Brazil. Partial proceeds from each special event ticket sold will benefit cultural non-profits in the community.

Saturday, May 24, is the Wine Fest at AT&T Park. Special event ticket holders will receive a Giants Wine Stopper, a complimentary tasting card, and access to the pre-game party in Seals Plaza from 5:00-7:00 p.m., where several wineries from Northern California will be on site providing tastings. The first 20,000 in attendance will receive a Giants Cap, presented by Dignity Health.

On Sunday, May 25, the first 20,000 fans will receive a Giants BBQ Apron, presented by Johnsonville. Following the game, all kids 14-years and younger are invited to come run the bases, presented by See's Candies.

The Giants wrap up their homestand with a three-game series against the Cubs (May 26-28). On Monday, May 26, the Giants will celebrate Memorial Day by honoring the men and women who have served our country. Representatives from all branches of the United States military will join the Giants and Cubs on the field for the National Anthem. The first 20,000 fans will receive a Beach Towel, presented by Bank of America, and the first 40,000 fans will also receive a mini U.S. flag.

On Tuesday, May 27, the Giants will host Autism Awareness Night, in partnership with Autism Speaks, The Arc, and Anova. The Giants and Will Clark will continue to raise awareness about this developmental disorder that affects more children than childhood cancer, juvenile diabetes and pediatric AIDS combined. Special event ticket holders will receive a collector's edition Will Clark statuette, commemorating the 25th Anniversary of him winning the 1989 NLCS MVP. Proceeds from each special event ticket sold will be donated directly to non-profits in the Autism community to aid in their ongoing mission.

It is also Say Hey Tuesday as CSN Bay Area will host Yahoo! Sports Talk Live, Giants Pregame Live, and Giants Postgame Live from Willie Mays Plaza. Fans are invited to come out early and watch their favorite sports analysts. The first 500 fans who come to Willie Mays Plaza and get in line at the Comcast SportsNet tent will receive an Authentic Giants Fan jersey.
