Giants present "Authentic Opening Day" viewing party

SAN FRANCISCO, CA (March 17, 2014) - Comcast SportsNet Bay Area (@CSNAuthentic), the home of "Authentic Bay Area Sports," and the San Francisco Giants (@SFGiants) invite all Bay Area sports fans to "Authentic Opening Day," a free viewing party at AT&T Park on Monday, March 31. The Giants open the 2014 season on the road against the Arizona Diamondbacks with 2013 N.L. All-Star Madison Bumgarner on the mound for his first Opening Day start.

The party begins with "Yahoo SportsTalk Live" (5 p.m.) and "Giants Pregame Live" (6 p.m.) shown on the AT&T Park HD Diamond Vision scoreboard, featuring live coverage between the festivities at AT&T Park and Chase Field in Arizona. The pregame show will be followed by the live telecast of the Giants' 2014 season opener from Arizona at 6:30 p.m.

The event is free to the public and fans can enter at the Willie Mays Plaza gates beginning at 5:30 p.m.

The first 5,000 fans will receive a coupon for a free hot dog and "Authentic Giants Fan" cheer cards and the first 3,000 fans will receive a free Comcast SportsNet "Authentic Giants Fan" pennant. The 2010 and 2012 World Series trophies will be on display at "Authentic Opening Day" and fans will have the opportunity to take pictures with the trophies.
