Posey entered the game with only one RBI before collecting his first spring homer. He also raised his batting average from .286 to .412.
"This [Spring Training] is where you try to get your timing and get your confidence going," Giants manager Bruce Bochy said. "I know he has been working on some things to get himself back to where he thinks he's on track."
Ehire Adrianza continued to impress, adding a two-run homer in the fourth. The switch-hitting Adrianza has improved markedly as a left-handed batter, though he hit his drive off Cingrani right-handed.
"He has good balance from both sides," Bochy said of Adrianza.
