SAN FRANCISCO -- More than 20 players, as well as manager Bruce Bochy and his coaching staff, will be on hand Saturday at AT&T Park to participate in the Giants' 21st annual FanFest, the club's unofficial introduction to the new season.

Admission is free for the event that runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. PT. Parking, which also is free, will be available in Lot A.

Among FanFest's popular activities are question-and-answer availabilities with Giants personnel, autograph sessions and a fashion show atop the home dugout featuring 2014 gear.

Fans will have broad access to the ballpark and its environs. The Fan Lot will be open for face painting and photos with the 2010 and 2012 World Series trophies; designated sites at the club level will feature a display of Giants memorabilia and videos of highlights from previous seasons; various players will pose for photos with fans at the @Cafe; self-guided clubhouse tours will be offered; and visitors may walk or play catch on the field.

As usual, KNBR 680 AM, the Giants' flagship station, will conduct interviews with numerous players and members of the coaching staff from the main broadcast stage on the field.

Players expected to attend include Tony Abreu, Jeremy Affeldt, Joaquin Arias, Brandon Belt, Gregor Blanco, Madison Bumgarner, Matt Cain, Brandon Crawford, Heath Hembree, Tim Hudson, Javier Lopez, Mike Kickham, Roger Kieschnick, George Kontos, Tim Lincecum, Michael Morse, Nick Noonan, Hunter Pence, Juan Perez, Buster Posey, Sergio Romo and Ryan Vogelsong.

Third baseman Pablo Sandoval opted to remain in Venezuela to continue his workout regimen and will not be present. Sandoval attended previous FanFests regularly and even showed up last year despite feeling ill. This year, FanFest's timing was less than optimal for Sandoval, who played for the Magallanes team that won the Venezuelan Winter League title Tuesday night by defeating Caribes.

Bochy, the Major Leagues' longest-tenured manager, will be joined by coaches Shawon Dunston, Tim Flannery, Mark Gardner, Bill Hayes, Roberto Kelly, Joe Lefebvre, Hensley Meulens, Dave Righetti and Ron Wotus.

Former players in attendance will include Hall of Famer Orlando Cepeda, Dave Dravecky, Mike Felder, Tito Fuentes, Bill Laskey and Jeffrey Leonard.

Broadcasters Mike Krukow, Duane Kuiper and Jon Miller also will appear.
