LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. -- As promised, the Giants will slightly alter their Spring Training routine in February.

Manager Bruce Bochy said Tuesday that coaches might provide more instruction in smaller groups or even one-on-one.

"You want to shake things up," Bochy said. "They get a little monotonous. Keep them interested and motivated with the workouts. We have to be a little more creative. But you still have to do the basics. That doesn't change."
