Giants re-sign right-handed pitcher Ryan Vogelsong to a one-year contract

SAN FRANCISCO, CA - The San Francisco Giants have re-signed right-handed pitcher Ryan Vogelsong to a one-year contract, club Senior Vice President and General Manager Brian Sabean announced today. Per club policy, financial terms were not disclosed.

Vogelsong, 36, spent his third consecutive campaign with San Francisco last season and went 4-6 with a 5.73 ERA in 19 starts. Following his return from the disabled list, he went 2-2 with a 4.55 ERA in his final 10 starts.

The 2011 All-Star and Giants "Willie Mac" award winner has posted a 31-25 record with a 3.71 ERA in 97 games (78 starts) in parts of five seasons in a Giants uniform. Overall, he's gone 41-44 with a 4.52 ERA in 200 games (111 starts) with San Francisco (2000-01, 2011-13) and Pittsburgh (2001-06).
