|

The San Francisco Giants announced their 2014 Cactus League home schedule today. The Giants are scheduled to play 15 home games in Arizona this spring with an additional two at AT&T Park against the Oakland Athletics.

San Francisco's home spring schedule will begin on Wednesday, February 26 at home versus the Oakland Athletics. The Giants, who have trained in Scottsdale since 1982, will embark on their 32nd Spring Training at Scottsdale Stadium. More than 168,000 fans witnessed the beginning of the Giants 2013 season at Scottsdale Stadium last spring.

Manager Bruce Bochy and his Giants will host each of the Cactus League clubs at least once, except for the Los Angeles Dodgers and Texas Rangers. San Francisco will host three home games against the Oakland Athletics and two against the Colorado Rockies.

The Giants will break camp from Arizona on March 26 and head north to play two games against the Oakland Athletics at AT&T Park (March 27 and 28). The Giants are scheduled to begin their 2014 campaign at the Arizona Diamondbacks on Monday, March 31 and play their home opener also against the Diamondbacks on Tuesday, April 8.
