SAN FRANCISCO -- Pablo Sandoval is OK.
He was removed after fouling a pitch off his right ankle in the seventh inning against the Padres on Saturday. But Sandoval was in the lineup Sunday.
That's great news for the Giants. Sandoval leads the team with 16 RBIs, third most in the NL, and is 10-for-19 with runners in scoring position. On Saturday, he provided all the offense the Giants needed, knocking his fourth homer of the season in the fourth inning.
"He's fine," Bochy said. "He's playing. I'm sure it's a little sore. He's good to go. That's why he's out there."
