Giants sign new deal with KNBR

SAN FRANCISCO -- The Giants and KNBR 680 announced a contract renewal Friday, ensuring that the club's flagship radio station will continue to broadcast games through the 2012 season.

KNBR is entering its 31st consecutive season of airing Giants games.

The new deal will feature some programming changes. For example, general manager Brian Sabean formerly had a weekly show on Thursdays. Hereafter, Sabean will share the air time with managing general partner Bill Neukom and president and chief operating officer Larry Baer.

KNBR is also the flagship station for the San Francisco 49ers and Golden State Warriors.
