Lee's comments came after the Giants beat the Tigers, 4-3, to complete a World Series sweep that brought San Francisco its second title in three years.
The parade will begin at the foot of Market Street, according to reports, and will continue to Civic Center Plaza.
Fans in San Francisco already started celebrating in the streets on Sunday, though, just like they did when the Giants won the World Series two years ago for the first title since the team moved from New York to the City by the Bay in 1958.
"The rain in Detroit couldn't dampen the drive, talent and determination of the San Francisco Giants team tonight," Lee said Sunday night, according to a report by The Associated Press. "Once again, the Giants brought our city together as we all cheered on our hometown heroes to another remarkable World Series victory."
