2012 World Series Media Day and workouts at AT&T Park

|

SAN FRANCISCO, CA - Major League Baseball will host 2012 World Series Media Day this afternoon at AT&T Park. Both the National League Champion San Francisco Giants and the American League Champion Detroit Tigers will make their 25-man roster players and select coaches available during two separate 45-minute sessions. The team media availabilities will be held on the Club Level (King Street side) at AT&T Park.

Managers Bruce Bochy of the Giants and Jim Leyland of the Tigers and both of Wednesday’s Game One starting pitchers will participate in formal Interview Room press conferences and will not be a part of their club’s media availabilities. Major League Baseball will provide pool feeds of the pregame and postgame press conferences throughout the 2012 World Series.

Media should present their 2012 NLDS, 2012 NLCS, 2012 World Series credentials or BBWAA cards for entry into the ballpark, and enter the ballpark at the media gate at 3rd and King.

Parking will be available in Lot A, located off 3rd street. Parking will be free for today only for those who place a business card or affiliation identification on their dashboard.
