In partnership with famed Bay-Area native and world-renowned musician, Michael Franti, and San Francisco’s premier Vinyasa yoga teacher, Janet Stone, the Giants will hold their first-ever Yoga Day at AT&T Park on Wednesday, Sept. 5.

Franti and Stone will team up for a morning of music and yoga offering Giants and yoga fans, who purchase a special ticket to this event, the opportunity to participate in a unique yoga session held on the field at AT&T Park.  The yoga session, led by Stone with live music performed by Franti, will take place in the morning from 8:00 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. followed by the Giants versus Diamondbacks game that evening beginning at 7:15 p.m.  Each fan with a special event ticket will receive a Giants-themed yoga mat.

Franti, a platinum selling artist, Giants fan and humanitarian, who has been practicing yoga for over 10 years, will make this event a special one by combining music and sports to make a positive change in the world. Franti has also recently launched Soulshine, a boutique hotel and yoga retreat in Ubud, Bali.

Stone has earned her reputation as one of the top Vinyasa yoga teachers in the world. She has been teaching and practicing for over 15 years, leading retreats, workshops and teacher training around the globe, including Bali, Mexico and India. She calls San Francisco home and offers a series of DVDs and the iTunes App - Yoga with Janet Stone.
