The Giants will partake in the welcoming of the America’s Cup World Series and Finals to San Francisco as they open the gates of AT&T Park to the sailing world on Saturday, Aug. 25 when they face the Atlanta Braves at 1:05 p.m.
The first 20,000 fans will receive a poster of ORACLE TEAM USA’s boats in action. The current America’s Cup champions and San Francisco-based ORACLE TEAM USA will also have two of its extreme-performance AC45 wingsail catamarans on display in McCovey Cove throughout the game.

This special ticket includes a special edition ORACLE TEAM USA/America’s Cup Day themed Giants hat and entry into a pre-game reception in Triples Alley featuring a question and answer session led by Giants broadcaster Mike Krukow with Skipper Jimmy Spithill, Skipper & CEO, Russell Coutts and Tactician John Kostecki. Triples Alley also provides fans with the opportunity to stand on the warning track in centerfield during the pre-game activities.
Jimmy Spithill, the youngest winning skipper in America’s Cup history, and ORACLE TEAM USA will also throw out the ceremonial first pitch.
