Sore knee slows down Huff's rehab
WASHINGTON -- Though Giants manager Bruce Bochy said that first baseman Aubrey Huff was expected to serve as Class A San Jose's designated hitter Thursday, Huff wasn't in the lineup after experiencing soreness in his right knee a day earlier as he began his injury rehabilitation assignment to the Minors.

Huff hurt himself while running the bases Wednesday. He initially sustained the injury on June 13 while trying to scale the AT&T Park dugout railing to join teammates celebrating Matt Cain's perfect game.

Huff, batting .155 with one home run and five RBIs in 32 games, remains likely to rejoin the Giants soon after the All-Star break.
