PHOENIX -- Giants manager Bruce Bochy was ejected for arguing with second-base umpire Gary Darling during the fifth inning of Sunday's 5-2 loss to the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Bochy disputed Darling's safe call on Gerardo Parra's stolen base. Second baseman Jeff Keppinger, believing he had tagged Parra in time for the out, jawed briefly with Darling. Before Keppinger was finished, Bochy already had left the dugout and was advancing toward Darling.

Parra, who led off the inning, came around to score on Aaron Hill's ground-rule double.

It was Bochy's third ejection of the season.
