WASHINGTON -- Giants manager Bruce Bochy held infielder Juan Uribe out of Friday's starting lineup for the fourth straight game due to problems with a sprained joint in his left ring finger.
But Bochy said he's looking to see Uribe back in the lineup in the second game of the series.
"He's probably going to go Saturday," Bochy said.
Bochy said another round of hitting and another day of rest should be helpful for Uribe, who had been struggling before sitting out. He hurt his finger about two weeks ago sliding into a base, and while X-rays showed no break, Uribe was just 1-for-27 before sitting out.
