SAN FRANCISCO -- The Giants announced Sunday the signing of 24 players from the 2010 First-Year Player Draft, as well as four amateur free agents. Among the signees were 12 of the club's first 20 selections, including third-round pick Carter Jurica (shortstop, Kansas State) and fourth-round pick Seth Rosin (right-handed pitcher, Minnesota). The club also signed 20th-round pick Brett Bochy, a right-handed reliever from Kansas and son of Giants manager Bruce Bochy. The Giants' first two picks -- first-round selection Gary Brown (center fielder, Cal State Fullerton) and second-round pick Jarret Parker (center fielder, Virginia) -- are still unsigned.
The four free agents San Francisco signed were first baseman Brice Cutspec (Azusa Pacific College), right-hander Andrew Altemus (West Virginia), catcher Mike Murray (Wake Forest) and first baseman Danny Brock (St. Louis).
